Euro 2024: Serbia fight back to draw with Slovenia
Jovic's late goal rescues point for Serbia
Slovenia had taken the lead through Karnicnik
Serbia substitute Luka Jovic headed a last-gasp equaliser to cancel out Zan Karnicnik's opener and salvage a 1-1 draw with Slovenia in an entertaining Euro 2024 Group B clash on Sunday.
Karnicnik had given Slovenia the lead in the 29th minute with a fine strike from the edge of the area, but Jovic popped up in the 94th minute to head home a cross from Filip Kostic and earn Serbia a share of the spoils.
The draw leaves both teams with one point from their opening two matches, with Slovenia now facing a must-win clash against England on Thursday, while Serbia will take on Denmark.
