Golden generation out as Tedesco takes over

Experienced stars Eden Hazard, Kevin De Bruyne and Toby Alderweireld have been dropped

New manager Domenico Tedesco has overhauled the Belgium squad with many of the golden generation now cast aside.

The likes of Eden Hazard, Kevin De Bruyne and Toby Alderweireld have all been dropped for the upcoming European Championship.

Tedesco has instead opted to bring in a number of younger players, including Charles De Ketelaere, Zeno Debast and Amadou Onana.

The new-look Belgium will be hoping to make a fresh start at the tournament, having failed to live up to expectations at the last two major tournaments.
